the smallest share, on purpose

habits.

habits carry the least weight of the five, and that is the point. the score should move because your body changed, not because you ticked a box — but consistency is what makes every other pillar improve, so it isn't nothing either.

10%of your daily score comes from habits.

what feeds it

  • the habits you chose to track, and whether you kept them
  • hydration, in ml, in or out of the way
  • steps and daily movement consistency
  • supplements, if you track a stack — including interaction checks

what it needs

nothing but your phone. habits, hydration and nutrition are the pillars that work fully without a watch, which makes them the ones doing the most work in your first week — and on an iphone-only setup, the ones doing the most work permanently.

what it can't see

streaks are a motivational device, not a health measurement, and sate treats them that way — a broken streak reduces a small weight, it doesn't scold you. habit reminders are not yet wired up: you can create a habit and track it, but the app will not currently notify you about it.

one honest number, every morning.

sate reads what your iphone and apple watch already collect, and what you log in seconds, and answers with a single score you can act on.
