1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sate. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this minimum age.
2. Account
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
3. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not: - reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source of the Sate app or API; - abuse rate limits or attempt to disrupt the service; - submit illegal, harmful, or infringing content; - impersonate other people or entities; - use Sate for medical diagnosis or treatment. Sate is a fitness app, not a medical device.
4. Health and medical disclaimer
Sate is a fitness tracking app. Information presented in Sate — including computed nutrition, score values, recommendations, and AI-generated estimates — is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new diet, fasting protocol, or exercise program, especially if you have any pre-existing condition or are pregnant.
5. Subscriptions and fees
Sate Membership is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the app after a free trial. Subscriptions are sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system, billed to your Apple ID, and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Current pricing and trial length are shown in the app and in the App Store before you subscribe. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings. These purchases are also governed by Apple's standard subscription terms in addition to these Terms.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose risk to other users or to the service.
7. Limitation of liability
Sate is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Sate is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. During the beta period this amount is $0.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the entity operating Sate is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will communicate material changes in-app. Continued use of Sate after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
